Step 2: Calculate the current size
Equipment power ÷ voltage=current
Current ÷ coefficient=Select solid-state current
The coefficient is determined based on the type of load you want to carry, resistive load: 60% inductive load: 30%
Example:
For a motor with a rated 1500W and a inductive load, the formula: 1500W-220V=6.8, 6.8 ÷ 0.3=22A, we need to purchase a 25A Solid-state relay.
